# Schedule Calculation for Multiple Assets
A lease contract may contain a single asset or multiple assets. For example, a lease agreement may cover a fleet of vehicles, laptops, production equipment, or other leased assets.
Depending on business requirements, multiple assets can be managed:
* Under a single lease schedule and a single Right-of-Use (ROU) Asset.
* As separate lease schedules and separate ROU Assets for each leased item.
When a large number of similar assets need to be managed individually, creating each lease schedule manually can be time-consuming. To simplify this process, the solution provides the **Clone Schedule** functionality.
## Clone Schedule Function
The **Clone Schedule** function creates copies of an existing lease schedule together with its related asset information. This allows users to quickly create multiple schedules with identical lease terms.
Before using the function:
* At least one lease schedule must already exist.
* The schedule must be confirmed and active.
* The schedule must have:
* Schedule Status = Active
* Version Status = Valid
## Creating Schedule Copies
To create additional schedules:
1. Open the existing active schedule.
2. Select **Clone Schedule**.
The system will prompt the user to enter the number of copies that should be created.
After the number of copies has been entered, select **OK** and confirm the creation process.
## Clone Schedule Results
The system automatically creates the requested number of lease schedules based on the original schedule. Each new schedule:
* Receives its own Schedule Number.
* Receives its own related Right-of-Use Asset.
* Inherits the lease settings from the original schedule.
* Is automatically confirmed.
* Generates the same activation postings as a standard schedule confirmation.
For example, if **10** copies are requested, the system will automatically create and activate **10 new schedules** together with the associated accounting entries.
